At Indigo Soda, environmental commitment is not just a principle enshrined in our mission: it's a value we put into action every day. It is with great pride that we have joined forces with Mission 1000 Tonnes, an inspiring organization that shares our deep desire to preserve our environment and promote eco-responsible lifestyle choices.

An initiative born from a shock
It all began in 2018 when Jimmy Vigneux, co-founder of Mission 1000 Tonnes, took a trip down the St. Lawrence River. Witnessing the extent of pollution in this iconic waterway, he and Lyne Morissette launched Mission 10 Tonnes. The challenge was simple yet ambitious: mobilize citizens to remove 10 tonnes of waste from the river in 75 days. They succeeded.
Building on this success, Jimmy and his team then launched Mission 1000 Tonnes, with the goal of cleaning up shorelines, rivers, and oceans on a larger scale. Since then, nearly 100,000 people have been mobilized across Quebec, and internationally, with operations conducted in Chile, Indonesia, Nicaragua, France, and Togo.
Indigo Soda: a key partner for plastic compensation
As part of our commitment to reducing single-use plastic, Indigo Soda is proud to be a key partner in Mission 1000 Tonnes' plastic compensation program. This collaboration reflects our desire to take concrete actions for a more sustainable future.
Thanks to Mission 1000 Tonnes' plastic compensation platform, everyone can contribute to waste reduction, even on a small scale.
At Indigo Soda, our products already help eliminate single-use sparkling water bottles. As a company, we go further by actively supporting on-the-ground cleanup efforts to amplify our environmental impact.

Concrete results: 5880 pounds of waste collected
Indigo Soda has already participated in three cleanup operations in partnership with Mission 1000 Tonnes. The result: 5880 pounds of waste have been removed from the environment. These local actions have a global effect, and every gesture counts to preserve our beautiful planet.
An alliance founded on common values
With Mission 1000 Tonnes, we share the conviction that individual actions can have a powerful collective impact. Together, we want to promote eco-responsible products, services, and lifestyle habits, and encourage everyone to reduce waste, especially plastics generated by our modern lifestyles.
This collaboration marks an important step in our environmental approach. But it's just the beginning. New initiatives will be launched in August, and we can't wait to unveil them to you!
