How can I tell if my CO2 bottle is empty?
If you don't get enough bubbles and don't hear a sputtering sound when you press the carbonation button on your sparkling water maker, your CO2 cylinder is empty. First, make sure the CO2 cylinder is properly installed and tightened by hand.
How often do I need to refill my CO2 cylinder?
This depends on the carbonation level you use. Our 60-liter CO2 cylinders produce an average of up to 60 liters of sparkling water. To reduce how often you need to change your CO2 cylinder, decrease the number of times you press the carbonation button on your machine.
Is my Indigo Soda CO2 bottle compatible with other sparkling water machines (SodaStream, Aarke, DrinkMate, etc.)?
Yes. Our Indigo Soda CO2 cylinders are compatible with SodaStream, Aarke, DrinkMate, and other sparkling water makers. Use our "Twist" cylinders for screw-on systems (TR21-4), or our "Easy Connect" cylinders for models with a Quick Connect system.
Is it safe to have Indigo Soda CO2 bottles in my home?
Yes, Indigo Soda CO2 cylinders are completely safe for your home. They are manufactured to rigorous specifications and equipped with a safety valve that releases CO2 safely if the pressure exceeds certain thresholds. Store your CO2 cylinder in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
