Frequently Asked Questions

Ready to make bubbles?

How long does a cylinder last?

An Indigo Soda CO2 cylinder can carbonate up to 60 litres of sparkling water. How long it lasts depends on how much sparkling water you drink and your preferred carbonation level.

Assuming you get the maximum yield of 60 litres:

  • 1 litre per day: approximately 2 months of use.
  • 2 litres per day: approximately 1 month of use.

These are estimates, not guaranteed results. Stronger carbonation uses more CO2, so your cylinder will run out sooner if you prefer extra bubbles.

When your CO2 cylinder is empty, find an Indigo Soda exchange location near you to exchange it for a full one.

Are Indigo Soda cylinders compatible with my machine?

Yes, Indigo Soda CO2 cylinders are compatible with many sparkling water machines, including select SodaStream, Aarke and DrinkMate models. To choose the right CO2 cylinder, check your machine’s connection type:

  • Purple Twist cylinder: for sparkling water machines with a screw-in connection using a TR21-4 thread.
  • Turquoise Easy Connect cylinder: for SodaStream machines equipped with the Quick Connect system.

Compatibility depends on your specific machine model and connection type, so check both before purchasing.
