What is the difference between the turquoise cylinder and the purple cylinder?
The turquoise cylinder is designed for machines with a Quick Connect (clip-on) mechanism, while the purple cylinder is for conventional screw-type machines (Twist system). Both have a 60L capacity and are priced the same, but they are not interchangeable between the two systems.
How do I know if my machine is compatible with the Easy Connect system?
Easy Connect compatible machines use a clip-on mechanism to attach the cylinder, without screws. If your SodaStream® machine is a recent model with a direct insertion system, it is very likely compatible. If you are unsure, check your machine model on the manufacturer's website.
Can the Easy Connect cylinder be used with any sparkling water machine?
No. The turquoise Easy Connect cylinder is only compatible with other brands' "Quick Connect" mechanism machines. For screw-driving machines, the purple cylinder (classic Twist system) is the correct option. Using the wrong cylinder can damage your machine.
How many bottles of sparkling water can be made from a 60L cylinder?
A 60L cylinder can carbonate up to 60 liters of water, or approximately 120 500ml bottles. Depending on your consumption, a cylinder can last from 6 weeks to 3 months before needing to be replaced.
