Watermelon Mojito: Refreshing and Sparkling
A recipe by Alix GlutenFree
Wow! Here’s my new summer obsession: the watermelon mojito, reinvented with a local twist thanks to Indigo Soda’s CO₂ cylinders and sparkling water machine. A super refreshing cocktail (or mocktail!) that’s perfect for hot days.
I’m a huge fan of homemade mojitos, and this fruity version—made with watermelon, fresh mint, and lime—combined with our Quebec-made bubbles is simply irresistible.
Whether you go for the alcoholic or alcohol-free version, this fizzy homemade drink is sure to impress your guests… or simply treat yourself solo!
Ingredients:
- Half a lime, cut into wedges
- 5 fresh mint leaves
- 4 watermelon balls or cubes
- 2 tsp (10 ml) cane sugar
- 1 oz (30 ml) dark rum (omit for the mocktail version)
- Ice
- 1 cup (250 ml) Indigo Soda sparkling water
Step:
In a glass, muddle the lime, mint, watermelon, cane sugar, and rum (if desired). Add ice and your Indigo Soda bubbles. Enjoy!
